On 14 January 2024, students from Std V to VIII of Educators English Medium School embarked on an exciting excursion to Maitri Bagh, Bhilai. The trip aimed to provide students with an enriching and enjoyable learning experience amidst nature’s beauty.
Accompanied by our dedicated teachers and staff, the students arrived at Maitri Bagh filled with anticipation and enthusiasm. Upon entering the premises, they were greeted by the lush greenery of the botanical garden and the lively atmosphere of the zoo.
The highlights of our visit included:
1. Zoo Exploration:
Students had the opportunity to observe a diverse range o
f animals, including mammals, birds, and reptiles. Guided by knowledgeable zookeepers, they learned fascinating facts about the habits, habitats, and conservation efforts related to various species.
2. Botanical Garden Tour:
The botanical garden provided a serene backdrop for students to appreciate the beauty of nature. They explored the garden’s collection of plants and trees, gaining insights into the importance of biodiversity and environmental conservation.
3. Toy Train Ride:
A ride on the toy train added an element of excitement to the day’s activities. Students enjoyed the scenic journey around the park, soaking in the sights and sounds of Maitri Bagh from a unique perspective.
4. Musical Fountain Show:
The visit concluded with a mesmerizing musical fountain show, where students were captivated by the synchronized water displays accompanied by enchanting music and lights.
Throughout the trip, students actively participated in interactive learning experiences, asking questions, sharing observations, and expressing their appreciation for the natural world. The visit to Maitri Bagh not only fostered a deeper understanding of wildlife and environmental conservation but also created lasting memories for our students.
